BRSURGE is an Eaton Type BR circuit breaker surge protective device designed for single-phase 120/240V loadcenters with plug-on mounting.
This device combines surge protection with a functional 2-pole thermal magnetic breaker, providing protection against overloads, short circuits, and transient surges. It features a 3kA nominal discharge current, an 18kA one-time surge current rating, and a 10kA short-circuit current rating (SCCR). The unit is UL 1449 certified and is compatible with select GE, ITE/Siemens, and Crouse-Hinds panels. Clear LED indication displays the protective status of the device, and it supports both internal and external installation options.
