This open-style switch features bolted pressure contacts with additional clamping action at both ends of the switch blades for enhanced durability and cooler operation. The switch is equipped with a Quick-Make, Quick-Break operator mechanism and dead-front design. It accommodates Class R fuses and is suitable for load break applications up to 600 volts AC. The switch is marked for use on circuits capable of delivering 200,000 RMS symmetrical amperes and carries a UL listing.
