NFD168 is a 1200 amp, 600 volt, 1-pole fusible bolted pressure contact switch designed for reliable power distribution and safety.This bolted pressure contact switch features a Quick-Make, Quick-Break tease-proof operator mechanism that ensures positive contact operation without spring assistance. It is dead front with an operating handle that indicates open or closed position and can be padlocked in the open position with up to three padlocks. The switch is designed with clamping action at both ends of the switch blades for secure contact and long-lasting durability. It is UL listed and suitable for circuits with available fault currents up to 200,000 RMS symmetrical amperes, meeting NEC 240.67 arc energy reduction requirements. Manufactured in the USA, it supports use as service entrance equipment and offers high short circuit current rating (SCCR).
