MSH4-1A is a plug-in heater element designed for use with Eaton Cutler Hammer MS Series single-phase manual motor starters, providing overload protection for motors in the 3.28 to 3.59 ampere full load current range. This eutectic alloy heater element features a keyed design to ensure proper positioning within compatible MS starter enclosures and includes an adjustable knob allowing plus or minus ten percent adjustment of the nominal heater rating. The element is suitable for applications up to 3 horsepower at 240 Vac or 2 horsepower at 230 Vdc, and integrates with the three-pole bimetallic overload relay system found in MS Series starters.
