HFDDC3040L is an Eaton Series C DC/PvGard complete molded case circuit breaker designed for solar and photovoltaic applications with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip protection.

This F-frame HFD circuit breaker features three poles rated at 40 amperes and 600 volts AC (250 volts DC capable). It includes line and load side lug terminals for feed-thru connections and delivers a 42 kAIC interrupt rating at 600 VAC. The breaker employs fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip functions for reliable overcurrent protection in grounded or ungrounded systems and is tested to operate in extreme ambient conditions from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.
