EVLDC2610-10 is a 1-phase 2-pole 600-volt 2000-amp VL type bolted pressure fusible safety switch designed for load-break applications in service entrance and branch circuit protection. This enclosed Series VL Geneva switch features bolted pressure contact technology that runs cooler and more efficiently than knife or butt contact switches, with a clamping action that provides superior performance and durability. The switch is constructed in accordance with UL 977 and is UL listed as a Fused Power-Circuit Device under File No. E44498, with a 200 kA short circuit current rating at 600 VAC when Class L fuses are installed. The unit includes quick-make, quick-break operators for safe and reliable switching, coined edges on stationary contacts for long-lasting durability, and pressure taps on switch terminals for connection of monitoring and control power devices.
