EJ465ST is a heavy-duty bolted pressure contact switch designed for industrial power distribution and disconnect applications. This 4-pole switch combines reliable bolted pressure contact technology with Quick-Make, Quick-Break operator mechanisms to ensure safe, efficient load switching and circuit isolation. The switch features coined edges on stationary contacts for long-lasting durability and custom double-lead threads that provide strong clamping action and ease of operation. Auxiliary blade pressure springs minimize arcing during operation, while an insulated bar connects the operator to the cross-bar to keep ground potential out of the arcing zone. The dead-front design with tease-proof operator ensures positive contact operation without requiring spring assistance. An operating handle with provisions for padlocking in the open position provides enhanced safety and lockout capability.
