EGB14040 is a Square D 40 Amp, 277 VAC, 1-pole miniature circuit breaker with thermal magnetic trip and bolt-on mounting.This Square D E-Frame molded case circuit breaker features a 40 Amp amperage rating, 277 VAC voltage rating, and 1 pole for single-phase applications. It has a thermal magnetic trip unit with an 1800 A trip range and interrupt ratings of 35 kA at 277 VAC and 65 kA at 120 VAC. The breaker supports wire sizes from 14 to 2/0 AWG with lug connections and is constructed with thermoset composite resin. It is UL listed and CSA certified, designed for bolt-on mounting, and rated for operation at 40 degrees Celsius.
