AR880A is an Eaton AR/ARD convertible contact machine tool industrial control relay designed for motor control and industrial automation applications.

This eight-pole, single-throw relay features a 110/120V coil voltage rated for 50/60 Hz operation with 8 normally open contact configuration. The relay incorporates captive, backed-out, self-lifting pressure plates on contact pole terminals to reduce wiring time. Terminals are shrouded to minimize electrical shock risk, and contacts are electrically and mechanically isolated for enhanced safety. Surge suppressors can be mounted in contact cavities to protect sensitive instruments and solid-state devices from high transient voltages during coil de-energization.
