YGHP29C29 is a copper compression ground rod connector designed for direct burial in earth and concrete applications. This Burndy HYTAP™ connector provides a reliable, irreversible compression connection for grounding systems.Engineered for use with stranded copper conductors, the YGHP29C29 accepts run conductors from 1/0 AWG to 250 kcmil and tap conductors from 3/0 AWG to 250 kcmil. It is compatible with 1/2" to 5/8" ground rods and 3/8" to 1/2" rebar. The connector is prefilled with Penetrox E oxide inhibitor for long-lasting corrosion protection and is UL467 listed for direct burial. This model is suitable for use in grounding systems requiring robust, permanent connections.
