Y2826R is a Burndy copper compression splice reducer designed for secure, high-conductivity connections between 4/0 AWG and 2/0 AWG stranded copper conductors.
This long barrel adapter features a center cable stop, internal chamfer, and high-conductivity electrolytic tin-plated copper construction for reliable performance in demanding electrical applications. It is color-coded purple for easy identification and is compatible with long barrel connector designs (YS, YA). The Y2826R is suitable for use up to 35kV and is field-cuttable to fit shorter compression barrels as needed.
