VLDC268ST is a 1200 ampere, 600 volt DC, 2 pole bolted pressure contact switch manufactured by Boltswitch, Inc. This fusible disconnect switch is designed for dead-front operation with Quick-Make, Quick-Break operator mechanism and provides reliable load switching and isolation in industrial power distribution applications.

The VLDC268ST features bolted pressure contacts with additional clamping action for enhanced contact pressure and durability. The switch is constructed with formed copper parts that run cooler and more efficiently than traditional knife or butt contact switches. The design includes an insulated bar connecting the operator to the cross-bar to keep ground potential out of the arcing zone, and the operating handle can be padlocked in the open position for safety lockout compliance.
