This conduit union features male/female threaded connections made from copper-free aluminum, providing durability and corrosion resistance. It has a smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub to protect conductor insulation and accurately tapped, tapered NPT threads for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. The concentric ring interlocked design allows for smaller diameter use in tighter spaces and facilitates modifications without turning or removing conduit. It is suitable for use with IMC and threaded rigid metallic conduit and is dust-ignitionproof and explosionproof certified for hazardous locations.
