This conduit union features a copperfree aluminum construction with electro zinc plating, providing dust-ignitionproof and explosionproof protection. It includes a smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub to protect conductor insulation and accurately tapered threads for tight, rigid joints with ground continuity. Certified for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class III hazardous locations, it meets UL 886, UL 1203, and CSA standards. The union measures 1.47 inches outside diameter by 2.147 inches length and is suitable for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC.
