UNY50NR is an Appleton 1/2 inch explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof steel conduit union with zinc electroplated finish for durable corrosion resistance.This conduit union is designed for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC in hazardous locations. It features a smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub to protect conductor insulation and accurately tapped, tapered threads for a tight, secure connection. The union is CSA certified for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III hazardous locations.
