UNY150NR is an Emerson Appleton explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof conduit union designed for 1-1/2 inch trade size conduit connections.This conduit union features a removable male nipple and is constructed from zinc electroplated, dichromate epoxy powder coated malleable iron for durability and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC in hazardous locations, meeting NEC/CEC Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C and D, Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G, and Class III requirements. The smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub protects conductor insulation during installation.
