UNY150 is an Appleton explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof conduit union designed for 1-1/2 inch rigid and IMC conduit connections with male/female threads.This conduit union features a smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub to protect conductor insulation and accurately tapped, tapered NPT threads for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. Constructed of malleable iron with a zinc electroplated finish, it is suitable for hazardous locations requiring NEC/CEC compliance. The compact concentric ring interlocked design allows use in tighter spaces and facilitates enclosure modifications without conduit removal.
