UNY125 is an explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof conduit union designed for connecting conduit to enclosures in hazardous locations. This Appleton UNY series union features a 1-1/4 inch connection size, malleable iron construction, and a tri-coated finish for durability and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC, providing a secure and reliable connection in demanding environments. Engineered for hazardous locations, the UNY125 conduit union offers a smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub to protect conductor insulation. The union is certified for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C, D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class III applications. The tri-coated finish includes zinc electroplating, chromate, and epoxy powder coating for enhanced protection.
