UNY100 is a 1" zinc electroplated steel male to female explosionproof conduit union designed for use in hazardous locations. This union provides a secure, reliable connection for threaded rigid metal conduit and intermediate metal conduit (IMC), facilitating easy installation and removal without disturbing the conduit system. Engineered for explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof applications, the UNY100 features smooth, rounded integral bushings in each hub to protect conductor insulation. It is suitable for joining conduit to enclosures and allows for modifications, expansion, and contraction of conduit runs. The union is UL 886 listed and CSA certified for use in Class I, II, and III hazardous locations.
