TMC285BRNP is an Eaton Crouse-Hinds TMCX series armored barrier cable gland designed for use with metal-clad corrugated, TECK armored, and tray cables in hazardous locations. This brass cable gland provides secure, explosion-proof termination for cables with an outer sheath diameter of 0.65 to 1.00 inches and armor thickness of 0.60 to 0.85 inches. The TMC285BRNP cable gland features a 3/4" NPT thread and is rated for use in Class I, Division 1; Class II, Division 1; and Class III hazardous locations. It meets NEC/CEC standards and carries a NEMA 4 rating for protection against environmental hazards. The gland is suitable for both armored and non-armored barrier cable installations, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
