TB390 is a Thomas & Betts 3 pole, 90 amp, 240 VAC plug-in circuit breaker designed for reliable protection in electrical distribution systems. This breaker features a thermal-magnetic trip unit for fast magnetic-trip protection against short circuits and time-delay-trip protection against overloads. The durable thermoset plastic housing ensures long-term reliability and resistance to dielectric breakdown after arcing. The breaker is color coded to indicate interrupting capacity and is suitable for use in compatible panelboards. Thomas & Betts TB390 breakers are classified for use where the available short circuit current is 10kA, 120/240 VAC or less. The unique side-clip design allows for true common-trip operation in 120/240 volt applications. Factory calibration after assembly ensures consistent performance. These breakers are switching duty rated and suitable for use with #1/0 aluminum wire when used as a residential service main.
