T28-4X-G is a PVC coated cast iron conduit body designed for routing, protecting, and accessing electrical conductors in harsh outdoor and wash down environments. This Form 8, Type T conduit body features a 3/4 inch hub size and NEMA 4X rating for superior corrosion protection in moisture-rich, coastal, and freeze-thaw conditions. T28-4X-G combines double-coat corrosion protection with practical functionality for electrical installations. The body features a 2 mil blue urethane interior coating and 40 mil PVC exterior coating, providing exceptional durability. It includes an injection-molded PVC-coated cast iron cover with integral O-ring seal and stainless steel encapsulated screws. The conduit body enables splices and taps in conductors, connects conduit sections, provides branch conduit run taps, makes 90 degree bends, and allows access for maintenance and future system changes.
