RRS-3-VB is a portable, apparatus-specific remote racking tool designed for safe, remote operation of GE VB series vacuum circuit breakers. This system enables operators to rack breakers in and out from up to 300 feet away, minimizing arc flash exposure and enhancing worksite safety. The RRS-3-VB is custom built to interface with GE VB-4.16, VB-7.2, and VB-13.8 vacuum circuit breakers. It features a wireless remote control with three operation buttons (install, remove, stop), real-time video monitoring (optional), and mechanical/electrical safety protection. The unit is magnet-assisted for easy installation and removal, with no modifications required to the switchgear.
