REC1210

REC1210 is a PVC-coated reducing coupling designed for use with rigid galvanized metal conduit in corrosive environments. This coupling features a 1-1/4 inch to 1 inch trade size transition, providing a secure and corrosion-resistant connection between conduit sections. The exterior is coated with a nominal 40 mil gray PVC, while the interior features a 2 mil green urethane coating over galvanized threads for added protection. Molded external ribs on sizes 1/2" through 4" facilitate easy installation, and sealing sleeves on both ends prevent corrosive liquids and vapors from attacking threaded joints. Electrical continuity is maintained across assembled joints for reliable performance. This reducing coupling is UL 6 listed and ETL PVC-001 verified, meeting ANSI C80.1 and NEMA RN-1 standards. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications where corrosion resistance is required. The ferrous metal construction provides durability and strength for demanding installations.
