QPX2828 is a Burndy VERSITAP heavy duty copper tapping connector designed for copper conductor connections ranging from 1 AWG to 4/0 AWG.
This parallel clamp type connector is suitable for tee, cross, parallel, butt, and tap configurations. It features a high conductivity copper alloy body with Durium silicon bronze hardware and hexagonal bolt screws. The connector is UL listed, CSA approved, and meets UL 486A-486B standards. It is unplated and designed for mechanical parallel clamp applications with a recommended installation torque of 240 lbs/in.
