PLG150R is an Appleton explosionproof recessed plug designed for closing threaded conduit openings on outlet boxes and hubs.This plug is made of malleable iron with a mechanically galvanized finish, suitable for use with threaded rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC). It features dust-ignitionproof construction and a smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub to protect conductor insulation. The tapered threads ensure tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. Certified to UL 886 and CSA C22.2 standards, it is ideal for hazardous locations requiring explosionproof conduit fittings.
