LBY50 is a 1/2" trade size, 90° capped conduit elbow from Appleton, designed for hazardous locations requiring explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof protection.

This short-type pulling elbow is constructed from malleable iron with a triple-coated finish (zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat) for superior corrosion resistance. It features female tapered threaded (NPT) hubs for secure connection to IMC or threaded rigid metallic conduit, a screw-on cover for easy access during wire pulling, and a compact design ideal for tight spaces. The LBY50 is UL and CSA certified for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D, and Class II, Groups E, F, G, and Class III hazardous locations.
