LB50 is a Type LB conduit body designed for rigid and IMC conduit applications, featuring a 1/2 in hub and 2 hubs for versatile installation. This conduit body is constructed from malleable iron with a triple-coat finish for durability and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for surface mounting in commercial and industrial environments. The LB50 conduit body provides access for pulling, splicing, and maintenance of conductors, and is ideal for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations per NEC Section 501-4(B). Its tapered threaded hubs (NPT) ensure tight, rigid joints and excellent ground continuity, while the smooth, rounded integral bushings protect conductor insulation.
