L50S500 is a high-speed semiconductor fuse designed for reliable protection in demanding electrical systems. This Littelfuse POWR-GARD® L50S series fuse features a very fast acting response and is engineered for fixed installations requiring high interrupt capacity. The L50S500 fuse is constructed with a fiberglass body and utilizes a bolt-down mounting style for secure installation. It is rated for 500A at 500V AC or 450V DC, making it suitable for protecting sensitive semiconductor equipment. The fuse provides a total clearing I2t of 112 A2s and a melting (pre-arc) I2t of 21 A2s, ensuring rapid response to overcurrent events. Its robust design supports an interrupt rating of 200kA at 500V AC and 20kA at 450V DC.
