KBC-500 is a high-capacity cartridge fuse designed for industrial power distribution and circuit protection applications requiring fast-blow response.
The Eaton Bussmann KBC-500 is a semiconductor fuse cartridge rated for 500 amperes at 600VAC with a 200kA RMS symmetrical interrupting rating. This fast-blow fuse features stud-type mounting and is suitable for DC applications up to 1000VDC. The KBC series provides reliable overcurrent protection in demanding electrical systems and is recognized for use in replacement applications. For new installations, Eaton recommends upgrading to the 700V FWP series fuse.
