J166 is a Mersen Class J fuse reducer designed to allow a 60 amp fuse to fit into 100 amp clips for 600 volt systems.
This rejection type fuse reducer is UL and CSA certified and specifically made for Class J fuse applications. It enables the use of lower rated 60A fuses in place of 100A clips, providing flexibility and protection in electrical circuits. The J166 is not intended for bolt-on applications and has been tested to interrupt currents up to 200,000 amperes.
