HSJ175 is a Mersen Class J high-speed power fuse rated for 175 amperes at 600 volts AC and 500 volts DC, designed for semiconductor protection and branch circuit applications. This cylindrical fuse features very low I2t thermal energy let-through, current-limiting capability, and excellent cycling ability for frequent motor controller start-ups without nuisance opening. The HSJ175 provides optimized overload protection down to 135 percent of fuse rating and is capable of protecting sensitive electronic components including IGBTs, DC capacitors, diodes, and SCRs under circuit fault conditions.
