HKGL
HKGL is a Hubbell HK Series flat lens cover instrument enclosure designed for secure mounting and protection of electrical devices in hazardous locations. This enclosure features a threaded glass lens screw cover for easy access, constructed from high-strength, corrosion-resistant copper-free cast aluminum with a gray powder epoxy/polyester finish. The cover includes a Nitrile (BUNA-N) o-ring for a Type 4X rating and shrouded tamper-resistant set screws for added security. The HKGL enclosure is suitable for use in Class I, II, III, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups B, C, D, E, F, G hazardous environments. Its compact design and durable construction make it ideal for instrumentation and control applications where reliability and safety are critical. The tempered soda lime glass lens provides clear viewing while maintaining the integrity of the enclosure.
