HEPD80 is a Square D whole-home surge protection device designed for robust electrical panel integration.
This Type 1 surge protector offers 80kA maximum surge current per phase, suitable for 120/240V single-phase, three-wire systems. It features a plastic enclosure, panelboard mounting, and comes with 12 AWG solid wire leads for easy installation. The device includes a green status LED for diagnostics and an audible alarm to signal when the suppressor requires replacement. It is designed for use with or without an overcurrent protection device and is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics and appliances from damaging voltage surges.
