GUAT50 is an Appleton conduit outlet box designed for explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof applications with a 1/2 inch trade size and aluminum enamel/zinc electroplated finish.GUAT50 features a 13-1/2 cubic inch capacity, 3 inch cover opening size, and dimensions of 3-5/8 in H x 3-5/8 in W x 2 in D. It is made of malleable iron with an aluminum cover, suitable for use with IMC and rigid conduit. The box includes an O-ring gasket for watertight sealing, internal ground screw, and smooth hub bushings to protect conductor insulation during pulling. It is rated for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class III hazardous locations, meeting NEMA 3 and 4 standards.
