GRUE09 is an Eaton Crouse-Hinds series Condulet GRUE flat cover explosionproof outlet box designed for safe and reliable cable termination in hazardous areas. Product Overview: The GRUE09 features a 5-inch diameter flat cover opening with copper-free aluminum construction. It provides five threaded hub locations (including three close-up plugs), tapered threaded hubs for ground continuity, and smooth rounded integral bushings in each hub to protect conductor installation. The external threaded body and jar-style cover design offers additional wiring room, with 16-pitch cover threads and cast ears for easy removal and tightening. Elevated mounting feet enable hubs to accept cable connector termination and removal in surface-mounted applications. Certifications and Standards: The unit meets Class I Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups B, C, D), Class II Division 1 (Groups E, F, G), Class II Division 2 (Groups F, G), and Class III ratings.
