EYS5

EYS5 is a 1-1/2" malleable iron conduit sealing fitting from Appleton, designed to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, or flames between sections of a conduit system in hazardous locations.

This sealing fitting features accurately tapped, tapered NPT threads for secure, rigid joints and ground continuity, with a smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub to protect conductor insulation. It is suitable for both vertical and horizontal installations and is constructed from zinc electroplated/chromate/epoxy powder coated grayloy-iron for enhanced durability. The EYS5 is part of the UNILETS™ series and is engineered for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C and D, as well as Class II, Groups E, F, G, and Class III hazardous locations.
