It is rated for use in hazardous locations including Class I Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D, and Class II Division 2, Groups F, G. The fitting restricts the passage of gases, vapors, or flames between portions of the electrical installation and includes a drain to prevent moisture accumulation. It is suitable for vertical mounting only and meets explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof standards.
