EXLK324 is a heavy-duty explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof flexible conduit coupling designed for use in hazardous locations where vibration or movement is a concern. This Appleton EXLK series coupling provides reliable protection for conductor insulation and ensures tight, rigid joints with ground continuity. Constructed with a bronze outer braid and a brass inner core with an insulating liner, the EXLK324 coupling is suitable for use with threaded rigid metallic conduit and IMC. The coupling features accurately tapped, tapered NPT threads for secure connections and includes a removable male nipple for easy installation. Its smooth, rounded integral bushings protect conductor insulation, while the heavy-duty design resists mechanical abuse.
