EXLK312
EXLK312 is a flexible coupling designed for use in hazardous locations requiring explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and watertight conduit connections. This Appleton EXLK Series coupling features a bronze braid outer layer, brass core with insulating liner, and a 1" trade size with a 12" length. The coupling includes one female end with a union and one female end with a removable male nipple, providing secure and reliable connections for rigid metal conduit and IMC systems. Engineered for durability and safety, the EXLK312 coupling offers heavy-duty construction to resist mechanical abuse and vibration. The smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub protects conductor insulation, while the accurately tapped, tapered threads ensure tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. The interior insulating liner further safeguards conductors from abrasion in vibrating environments. This coupling is suitable for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations and meets UL 886/1203 and CSA C22.2 standards.
