EXGJH318 is an explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, watertight flexible conduit coupling designed for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC.EXGJH318 features smooth, rounded integral bushings in each hub to protect conductor insulation and accurately tapped, tapered threads for tight, rigid joints with ground continuity. It has a heavy-duty design that resists mechanical abuse and provides electrical conductivity equal to rigid conduit without requiring a bonding jumper. The coupling is 18 inches long with a 1 inch trade size, constructed with a bronze braid outer and brass core inner with insulating liner, and brass end fittings. It meets UL 886/1203 and CSA C22.2 standards and has an IP66 enclosure rating.
