EXGJH212

EXGJH212 is a flexible conduit coupling designed for use in hazardous locations where vibration and movement are present. This Appleton EXGJH series coupling provides explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and watertight protection for threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC installations. The coupling features a stainless steel construction with a natural finish, ensuring durability and resistance to mechanical abuse. It is suitable for environments requiring high reliability and safety. The EXGJH212 coupling is engineered with two female end fittings, each supplied with a removable male nipple, allowing for secure and flexible connections. The interior insulating liner protects conductors from abrasion under vibrating conditions, while the accurately tapped, tapered threads ensure tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. No bonding jumper is required due to its electrical conductivity equal to rigid conduit on a similar length basis.
