EXGJH16 is an Appleton explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and watertight flexible conduit coupling designed for hazardous locations.This coupling features 1/2 inch trade size with both ends female and furnished with removable male nipples. It is constructed with brass end fittings and a bronze outer braid with a brass inner core insulated liner to protect conductor insulation and ensure electrical conductivity equal to rigid conduit. The coupling is suitable for use with threaded rigid metallic conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC). It provides tight, rigid joints with accurately tapped, tapered NPT threads and resists mechanical abuse. Certified to UL 886/1203 and CSA C22.2 standards, it meets IP66 enclosure requirements.
