ESUF50 is an explosion-proof conduit sealing fitting from Appleton designed for hazardous locations to prevent passage of gases, vapors, or flames.This 1/2 inch conduit seal is made of malleable iron with a triple-coat finish (zinc electroplated, chromate, epoxy powder coated) for corrosion resistance. It features female tapered threaded connections and is suitable for use with threaded rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC). The fitting is rated for Class I Div 1 and 2 Groups C, D; Class II Div 1 and 2 Groups E, F, G; and Class III hazardous locations. It supports both vertical and horizontal mounting positions and complies with UL standards for explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and raintight applications.
