ES150100 is an Appleton explosion-proof sealing hub designed for hazardous locations with 1-1/2 inch male and 1 inch female NPT threaded conduit connections.This sealing hub is made of malleable iron with a triple-coat zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. It features a tapered male/female threaded type, vertical conduit orientation, and allows up to 25% conduit fill. The hub prevents the passage of gases, vapors, or flames between conduit sections and is rated for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class III hazardous locations. It complies with CSA C22.2 No. 30 and UL 886 standards.
