EIBB3040 is an Eaton Crouse-Hinds series explosionproof compact circuit breaker designed for hazardous location applications. This 40-ampere, three-pole breaker features bolted construction with a copper-free aluminum enclosure and provides NEMA 4 environmental protection and Class I, Division 1 hazardous area ratings. The unit utilizes an EG frame type breaker with a rotary handle operator that clearly indicates ON, OFF, and TRIP positions. Stainless steel hinges, neoprene gaskets, and detachable mounting feet ensure durability and flexible installation. Two 1.5-inch NPT conduit entries (top and bottom) facilitate easy conductor routing. The breaker is UL 1203 certified and complies with CSA C22.2 No. 30 standards. Key Specifications
