EDS3155 is an Eaton Crouse-Hinds series explosionproof pushbutton control station designed for hazardous area applications. EDS3155 features a Feraloy iron alloy body, two-circuit configuration, and dead-end 1" hub connection rated for 600 Vac operation. The unit is factory sealed to prevent arcing of enclosed devices from causing ignition of hazardous atmospheres external to the enclosure, eliminating the need for external seals and simplifying installation. This control station is used in conjunction with magnetic starters or contactors for remote control of motors in industrial areas where atmospheres may contain hazardous gases and/or dusts.
