EBMK20
EBMK20 is a Crouse-Hinds EBM Series explosionproof enclosure designed for hazardous locations and demanding industrial environments. This enclosure provides reliable protection for electrical components with a robust copper-free aluminum construction and stainless steel hardware. The EBMK20 is rated for 20 amps and 600VAC, featuring a 3-pole configuration and NEMA 3R environmental protection. It is suitable for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D hazardous locations, and is ideal for applications requiring explosionproof and raintight performance. The EBMK20 enclosure features a semi-clamshell design with an external flanged ground, stainless steel hinges, and quick-release captive hex head cover bolts. The cover gasket is made of neoprene for moisture resistance, and the enclosure includes top and bottom drilled and tapped conduit entrances for flexible installation. The interior parts are constructed from sheet steel and electrogalvanized for durability.
