EAJX16SA is a Crouse-Hinds Condulet EAJ series explosionproof conduit outlet box with a 3-3/16 inch cover opening diameter and 1/2 inch trade size entry.This conduit outlet box is made of copper-free aluminum with a natural finish and features an X-shaped design. It is designed for use with threaded rigid conduit and is suitable for hazardous locations including Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G. The box includes a water-shedding cover for wet location applications when mounted upright, external cover threads to protect conductors during pulling, taper threaded hubs for grounding continuity, and a smooth integral hub bushing to protect conductor insulation. The cover is flat, overlapping, and internally threaded to provide additional wiring room. A #10 internal green ground screw is standard in all boxes.
