EAJC16 is a Crouse-Hinds EAJ series conduit outlet box with cover, designed for use in hazardous locations and demanding industrial environments. This conduit outlet box features a 3-3/16" cover opening diameter and is constructed from durable Feraloy iron alloy for long-lasting performance. The EAJC16 conduit outlet box is suitable for use with rigid conduits and provides a dust-ignitionproof, explosionproof, and raintight enclosure. It can be used as a pull and splice box, to interconnect conduit lengths, change conduit direction, provide access for maintenance, act as a mounting outlet for fixtures, and serve as a sealing fitting. The box features external cover threads to protect conductors during pulling, no pinching of conductors during cover installation, six different hub arrangements, taper threaded hubs for grounding continuity, smooth integral hub bushings to protect conductor insulation, internally threaded cover openings for additional wiring room, flat overlapping threaded covers, and a #10 internal green ground screw.
